On March 12, JCK was invited to participate in the "UMEIKITA 2nd" innovation exchange activity organized by the Kansai Economic Federation of Japan. This event is held simultaneously online and offline, focusing on "innovation" in the form of round-table dialogue. It is a pilot project for the exchange base of enterprises, universities, and other institutions. This exchange is carried out in two forms: special exchange and comprehensive exchange, focusing on selected outstanding projects and organizing activities such as entrepreneurial counseling, exhibition exchange, capital docking, and backbone training.


The Umeda area is located in the central area of "Umeda" in Osaka, the largest city in western Japan. In 2013, with the opening of "GRAND FRONT Osaka", the western Japan area started an attempt to smart city. To achieve the goal of a smart park city and create more corporate-related added value from environmental protection and sustainable development, the Kansai Economic Federation has conducted various experiments. The second phase of the Umekita area is scheduled to be completed in 2024. To create a new base for "technological innovation", from the adoption of robots, AI, IoT, and other technologies to improve the efficiency and quality of smart cities. The plan will also promote corporate publicity and business development, etc.


JCK has conducted good online communication, interaction, and discussion with domestic and foreign companies. During the exchange, everyone enhanced mutual understanding, increased mutual trust, and opened up thinking and business opportunities. This event created an innovative atmosphere for international business exchanges in the post-epidemic era and laid a solid foundation for further building a platform for innovation and entrepreneurship. The whole event received positive feedback from the participants. In the future, the event will also be held once a year regularly.
